They just don't make films like, White Christmas or the original 1947 version of, Miracle On 34th Street, anymore.

As i have collected alot of the older christmas songs like bing crosby -white christmas and many of his others as well as the time life treasury of christmas songs by the original singers and some are instrumental,i've got so many as some were my moms like dean martin christmas songs,it's a wonderful holiday here as we love these songs.

My youngest brother and I were discussing Christmas carols and the various artists who sing them and he and I both agree, the singers from the 40s-60s really had a wonderful way of singing the carols. That's not to say that today's artists aren't as talented, but if I was asked to choose my favorite versions of these songs, it almost always is singers from the 40s-60s or 70s, even.
