    Hi from Kentucky

I am retired, with two workshops on my property. I like to work with my hands to make things. This year, I am trying to focus on Christmas. I have so many tools and machines, but unfortunately, no help! I have to do everything myself.

I am hoping to be able to arrive at the huge Christmas Craft Fair in Nashville this year, with a truckload of Christmas decorations and such, all made with my tools.

Of course, Pinterest.com is just an eye candy store! So many ideas! I really wish I could figure out what will SELL this year. What was popular last year, isn't so much so this year. It is a constant struggle!

I hope you all have a great year, and a profitable 2023 Christmas season.

    Joe

    Hi, Joe!

I wish I had talent like you do, to create things. And you're like a veritable Santa Claus with your two workshops!

I wish I could help with ideas for this coming Christmas, but I usually go between traditional, woodland and 60's Christmas decor, not usually following the trends except for picking up a piece here and there.
I imagine that with a Christmas theme your work will be a happy endeavor and I wish you joy and insight with it!
The holly's up, the house is all bright, The tree is ready, the candles alight; Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight.

Welcome from South Dakota. Great to have you here. I have a few 'stencil' types that would go along with the Grinch, but they are larger yard decorations. I would love to build them, but every time I clean out the garage, my beautiful wife sees and empty space and quickly fills it... lol.
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more!"
