Hello everyone I am new here Merry Christmas to all. I really need of your help I have been trying to locate a specific version of “God rest ye merry gentlemen” / “Tidings of comfort and joy” I can only provide bits of information but I am sure some one could help me. OK here it goes

1)This is a traditional version of the carol and it starts of with an instrumental ( no words) version of the chorus:
“ O tidings of comfort and joy,
comfort and joy,
O tidings of comfort and joy.

Then it starts with the song

2) what is really amazing about this version is that it is really fast paced almost aggressive not like a lot of the other softer calmer versions.

3) it sounded like a choir sang it

4) I know this version came out before 1995 since this is when I first heard it when I was a kid in school

Most importantly the lyrics of the song of this version are :
God rest ye merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay,
For Jesus Christ our Saviour
Was born upon this day,
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray:
O tidings of comfort and joy,
comfort and joy,
O tidings of comfort and joy.

or

it may be “God rest you merry, gentlemen…..” but everything else is the same

Can some one please help me locate this version I first heard it when I was a kid, then I actually heard it again on the radio in 2018 I tried to contact the radio company but no one responded to my emails. I tried looking on dozens of versions on youtube but no luck. If someone knows this version and tell me who sang it would mean a lot

Thank you
