"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more!"
I quite agree.
I am thoroughly enjoying Thanksgiving season, but I am so ready to decorate for Christmas. I wonder if there's fresh greenery made from yews for sale. And if so, how long they stay nice, before they dry up. Same with a fresh holly wreath. My experience with fresh greenery has been that they are dead within a few days (and not worth the price). I'm guessing that the peoples of the past put it up for the Eve and Day and it didn't need to last...
The holly's up, the house is all bright, The tree is ready, the candles alight; Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight.
Looking forward to giving the table a huge makeover. There will be a smaller tree out there, so we can have some decor without worrying about tails clearing the path... lol![]()

I guess this applies... got the last of my interior Christmas decorations down (except the office, which is 24/7)...![]()

Watched a Hallmark Christmas movie the other night. Hot Cocoa, the fireplace and Hallmark... overall, a great night.![]()
