    Sunrises on the deck...
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more!"

Oh, how I love beautiful sunrises- all pink and orange, especially in the summer! Unfortunately, we hardly ever have them- we never seem to have the right cloud formations/atmospheric conditions. But I love sunrises in general- a fresh new start!
The holly's up, the house is all bright, The tree is ready, the candles alight; Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight.

Small propane fire pits around the deck table to light the night...

I've never seen those in person. Do they keep the mosquitos away?

Being sung to sleep by a chorus of crickets.

Nature sounds always help. They do keep them away to a degree. The one I have sets in the umbrella hole on the table.

I haven't been to one in several years- I should put it on next year's calendar to remind me.

Hosting a Tuscan dinner (outdoors under strings of lights) with family and neighbors.

Sounds very nice. I did a July travel to Canton, Ohio to see the NFL Hall of Fame and watched the USFL Championship game with family and best friend...

I'm probably alone in this, but hazy warm mornings and nights (not cloudy or rainy!).

Actually that sounds appealing. Maybe with a nice cup of coffee on the deck as the sun rises...
