Good morning everyone from South Dakota, it is 5:30AM, I am on my deck with a cup of "Joe", waiting for the sun to rise...
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more!"

Was it cold? We just had a brief return of summer weather, but now are back to crisp (read cold) mornings. I wish I liked being out in that, but I really always want to be warm.
Also, our sunrise isn't until 6:30-7 now.
I hope you enjoyed it. It's a nice way to start the day.
The holly's up, the house is all bright, The tree is ready, the candles alight; Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight.

    Good morning everyone!

I'm a little surprised by the amount of leaves that are falling already. The height of our foliage isn't until the 2nd week of October.

I am so glad to be in the holiday season again.

Greetings Mistletoe and I could not agree more. I have an older countdown calendar that begins at 90 days. So tonight I will set my alarm for 11:55 and make it official in my home...

Yes and it still works very well as the number "64" proudly is displayed...

    Hello everyone! Happy November!

It was very interesting in October. I was marveling that the colored leaves were all still on the trees the week before Halloween. Then about 4 minutes later a wind kicked up and there were so many leaves coming down, it seemed like it was raining leaves. The next day the trees were almost all bare. Thankfully I sat and really enjoyed those 4 minutes.
