Indeed... lol. Usually do not get clothing for others, unless it is on the list and then exact style, color and size needs to be included...

Have you ever decided to add some last minute decorating (as in you finished your interior a week or more before)?

Yes, usually when I see something in the store. Actually, this year I had to flesh it out some a week or 2 after I decorated, as I was feeling a woodland feel this year and didn't have enough color, so went back to grab some things to add.

Have you ever hosted a Christmas Eve party and had your neighbors come?

It has been a very long time, but yes...

Have you ever spiked the punch?

Never had punch at Christmas time. I prefer creamy/heavy drinks in the cold (actually maybe anytime). The eggnog is always spiked.

Have you ever been stranded on your way to a Christmas celebration and missed out on it (travel delays, etc)?

The closest I have come to that, was having my leave cancelled for Christmas when I was in the military...

Have you ever had a Christmas dream that seemed so real after you woke up?

How sad that must have been to have your leave cancelled for Christmas! Was it due to an emergency?

Yes, I had a recurring nightmare for years (into adulthood) that I overslept and missed Christmas- I always woke up in a panic and it took a few moments to convince myself that it was just a dream. You?

Have you ever hosted a New Year's party?

Someone had an emergency leave and of course, posts must still be manned.
Yes, that I was in ancient times enjoying a Madrigal celebration.
Never hosted, been to a few... lol

Have you ever looked at an ornament for a moment or two and remembered when, where & why you obtained it?

    Nice dream!
Every year as we put ornaments on the tree we talk about when we got this one or that one. It's the best part- it's our history.

Have you ever hired someone to decorate the outside of your home (to put lights on the house, etc)?

That may be in my future, but not yet... lol

Have you ever said you were going to do something, thought better of it, but since you said it, did it anyway?

Yes. I'm very careful what I agree to now.

Have you ever had to switch the time you open gifts on Christmas (like if you always open them on Christmas morning, did you have to do it on Christmas Eve, due to celebrating at someone else's house, etc)?
