We go to our daughter's for Thanksgiving

And I get out of lifting that huge turkey and doing so much work!

However, I do decorate my house for fall!

wow, I am so impressed. Unfortunatley over here int he UK we don't have thanksgiving, and Halloween is ONE day of the month, not weeks lol. Which is a pity because I do love to decorate when I can, and we go all out decorating for Halloween and it seems such a waste for one day.

Thanksgiving is only one day here. So I decorate for autumn. You can do that, too. Even here in the USA people seldom decorate for autumn.

Did you know that Thanksgiving is one of the busiest days of the year at movie theatres?

Thus I always "get" to work...

It's ok, I live about 1800 miles from my nearest family member, and I like to work when it is busy! Also, the employees love to bring in leftovers for me to eat so I get to experience lots of great home cooked Thanksgiving meals all in one day! If not, I can always have my fill of Popcorn!!! :D

I have cooked a Thanksgiving meal once in my life (several years ago) and the turkey came out very well!

P.S. I have a few Thanksgiving decorations up, I will have to post pictures later as I have not taken any pictures yet....

Wishing all a safe and loving Holiday!!
