I am not a huge fan of Valentine's Day, but I also do not mind it. I guess i prefer the spontaneous gesture versus the "expected" one. However, if for some, this day does remind you of your loved one and the fact that you might not say "I Love You" or even "Thank You" often enough and it stirs yours actions, then good enough. I did break my normal tradition this year and took the day off from work (as i work nights) and surprised my wife with a hand picked variety of chocolates (just a few, as she gives me the look if there are too many) and a nice relaxing Valentine's Day lunch at the local Cracker Barrel...
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more!"
