'I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future!' Scrooge repeated, as he scrambled out of bed. 'The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. Oh, Jacob Marley! Heaven, and the Christmas Time be praised for this! I say it on my knees, old Jacob, on my knees!' (Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol)

Got my tree up, no ornaments yet. This is early for me. Had been trying to decide whether to put up the tree or decorate at all, since we'll be up north for Christmas and New Years. Last year, I didn't decorate at all and, while it was nice to come home and not have to deal with the chore of putting it all away, it's also nice to see and enjoy our own tree and decorations for a while. And, I didn't buy that new tree a couple years ago for nothing

Today's the day for me! I'm taking the afternoon off and setting up my driveway lights, maybe a couple of other outside lights, depending upon how long the driveway lights take. Then tonight I'll get all of the inside decorations down from the bonus room closets and the garage, and get them all organized, possibly get both trees up before I go to bed. Then the next 3 days I'm in full decorating mode. Can't wait!

    The tree so far: IMG_0393.jpg

It really is straight, not leaning like the picture, lol. And, it's hard to get it in focus.
