I was just viewing Lemax's village collection for 2016. As many of you know, I have a large village I set up at Christmas time. I haven't added any new houses in 3 or 4 years. Lemax has some nice ones this year - including a Brewery and a Gift Shop. I know I shouldn't add to my collection, but it is so hard to resist! I guess I have about 35 houses. I have a good friend who has at least 400 houses in her collection. She has so many, she can't really even set them up as a village. She ends up stacking them on multiple tall bookcases. Can't wait to set it up in my new home this year!

Was viewing on-line the selection of nutcrackers available this year. Target usually has a great, inexpensive line of nutcrackers. I like to add one each year. Maybe I'll add two this year since didn't buy one last year. I've decided that for 2016, I will only buy 3 Hallmark ornaments (1 for myself and 2 for my daughters), 1 village house, and 1 or 2 nutcrackers.

    So cute!

I got word of a 50-75% off sale on Yankee Candles - so I picked up two as small Christmas gifts. One candle is a Peeps Marshmallow scented one - regularly $28, I paid only $7. It is one of the gifts I purchase for my older daughter - who is addicted to Peeps!
