It was so nice to enjoy such beautiful music with a kindred spirit and also great to have a good excuse to play Christmas music well before Thanksgiving.
    That sounds so nice.
The holly's up, the house is all bright, The tree is ready, the candles alight; Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight.

That's one of the nice things about moving.

I put up the outdoor Christmas lights! I really wish the 70F degree weather had stuck around an extra day for that. I'm putting just white lights up this year (I alternate). Had to buy all new ones, since pretty much all the strands that I had were faulty, so I have 2000 lights up and ready to go for December 1st (they were all lighting when I tested them and they better all still light in a couple weeks!)!

I also listened to my first Christmas music on the radio today!

Good job mistletoe! Yes, it has definitely gotten much cooler here! I have a tradition going with my outside lights - they wait until Dec 24th to start shorting out - usually an hour or so before the guests arrive!

How sad that you'll miss out on that this year.

I know - I'm sad just thinking about it! I do plan to do something, even if it's in a temporary location. Hope to at least get one of my trees up and some lights in a window. It will actually be more difficult if we have moved into a new place and are busy painting and replacing flooring - but I will manage something!!
