I did not put any ornaments on the lowest branches because of my puppy. So far he has been not interested in the tree. I am not taking any chances and have put a fence up when I am not around.

It is spectacular! Good Idea about the fence, you juat never know how a puppy will react. My dog totally ignores the tree until it has presents under it!

Thanks for the comments folks I am going to be working on the outdoor decorating tomorrow and on the weekend. I also have another tree to put up plus I am working on the staircase. I picked up one of those 50th anniversary Charlie Brown interactive statues this weekend and are going to go back and buy the others tomorrow. If you do not know what I am talking about and you are a Charlie Brown fan you should drop in at your local Hallmark store ( they are in Canada and the US ) and check them out.

I am going to be putting the finishing touches on the big tree this weekend. Something else that a need to do is get my Star Wars tree up. It is a very special December this year for Star Wars fans as Episode 7 The force awakens comes out on Dec 18th. I am a huge fan and already have my tickets.

Mike, you have excelled yourself this year! I love your peacock tree!
So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
Hail our dear old friend kris kringle,
Driving his reindeer across the sky.
Don't stand underneath when they fly by.

    Hi folks,

Sorry for not posting any pics. There has been so much going on the last few days. Lots of shopping and I have already completed most of my Christmas gift shopping. I added 70 new ornaments to the big tree this year so I am able to do better job that decorating right around the tree. It is a lot of work but the kids on the street love it

Lots of new ornaments this year
