    Hello from Christmas central

Decorating is moving along here at full speed. I am on vacation this week and a good chunk of the decorating should be done by Saturday I hope...
The big tree has been assembled and the star added. I have also replaced about 75 dead lights which took about 4 hours. I am now into my 7 hour and are putting more lights on the tree.
One of my other trees is almost done so I am happy with the progress

My wife picked up this large snow globe from Homesense

OH MIKE! These photos are making me tear up with happiness. First of all - PURPLE TREE IS MY SECRET FAVOURITE (after big tree of course). Second of all - I want to thank you AGAIN for sharing your progress every year. I know it's special to me - as well as our other members (are you on our private Facebook Group?)

Such lovely things. I like the big globe and the ornaments with the silver statues inside.
The holly's up, the house is all bright, The tree is ready, the candles alight; Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight.

The peacock tree is gorgeous. My married granddaughter LOVES peacocks, but her husband wants only red, white and green ornaments.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone and yes I think I am a part of that private Facebook group Chantelle. How are you doing Papa ✌ well I am about 20 hours into the big tree set up. I have completed the lights and are now working on the decorations. I am also battling a virus and a bad knee so I am not moving as fast as I like. I also notice that as I get older I cannot spend as much time on the ladder .

I have also been able to replace a lot of my twinkle lights with led versions. I think that in about 3 years I will be able to replace about 50% of my lights.

    More pictures coming soon...
