Not certain why the photo kept coming in upside down... oh well
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more!"

It looks like you put family photos of those who weren’t there. I LOVE that idea!

Yes. That is exactly what I did and for that reason. That way, we could feel like they were still with us at dinnertime...

Very nice! The lanterns and the presents centerpiece really add charm! Are those stars or snowflakes on the black runner?
The holly's up, the house is all bright, The tree is ready, the candles alight; Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight.

Fun placemats and napkins. I like how the two of you sat next to each other facing the photos and how the table feels full, with the decorations and candles, as if it were full of people. And I agree, the photos were an excellent idea!

I would have to pull it out of storage to look. I just assumed they were stars. I bought it on sale a few years ago after Christmas, and I checked with the sales woman to check it was a Christmas item. It didn’t scream Christmas like the others in the pile. I’m not positive, but I think I purchased the black/silver/gold present centerpiece at the same store ( Hobby Lobby).

Have not thought much about the table after I put it down, but this year I want to do something more. Just not sure what... yet.

It all looks really nice. You haven't used your Nutcracker napkin rings yet, right?

No. I’m waiting to do a nutcracker table.

That sounds like a really cool theme and I do have a few nutcrackers. 2023 will see it. Thanks for the idea...
