It will be a quiet Easter for us this year. One daughter is going to her boyfriend's Mom's house. The other is going away for the weekend (Washington DC)

We did our eggs last Sunday after church. Asher (my older son) has First Communion at tomorrow evening's service. Holy Week really moves me. It's when my faith feels strongest.

Not doing eggs this year. I usually dye some with my daughter, but she is going to Washington DC this weekend with her boyfriend - I don't want to do them alone!

Does that make you sad, or won't you miss it?

What is everyone doing for Easter this year? I'm making a traditional ham, potato and asparagus meal. No company this year, and daughters won't be here. I miss having young children around. I always did jelly bean hunts inside and egg hunts outside. Loved making up the baskets, getting dressed up for mass, and seeing all my little nieces and nephews (they are ALL adults now). I need some grandchildren!!!
