    No outdoor lights this year

My daughter was too tired to put up the icicles along the roof line and now it's too cold for her. I put a row of candles in the ground and when I plugged them in they didn't come on. I went to buy new C-7 bulbs for them, but Walmart doesn't carry them anymore. Well, that's that. Is anyone else having any bad luck?

Yes - bad luck every year with outside lights - burnouts, plugs facing the wrong way, bad design, outlet failure!

The weather limited my outdoor display this year, but I managed to get about 2/3 of it out. I will see if I can post a pic.
    I love Outdoor Christmas Lights!!

Is it all real? Ah, Virginia, in all this world there is nothing else real and abiding.

I think they change the design of the plugs every few years. Of the strands that actually worked, they wouldn't fit together!

Mike- your sons must love your display! Can you get a pic of it at night? Do you do anything in the back yard?
The holly's up, the house is all bright, The tree is ready, the candles alight; Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight.

You can find C7 bulbs any place that sells Christmas decorations. They are pretty common. I am guessing Walmart either sold out, or they just didn't put them out yet. The Walmart by me still carries them.

Well, I found some C-7 bulbs in my laundry, but I guess the strand of candles is shot. :( Santa, it's snowing outside here in Indiana.
