I love snowflakes and last year I made some and sent them to my kids. Was trying to upload a picture of it my for whatever reason this site does cannot accept my file. I wish I could show everyone.
this year I plan on making another snowflake ornament

Once in a while I buy a pack of garlands, but most of the time I just leave it to my daughter. She, like all kids, loves to draw and is into paper crafts. I let her decorate the house and the Christmas tree.

To be honest, I have not tried my hand at making things for Christmas (except baking of course), but my wife being a huge Harry Potter fan, I decided to do something with that theme this upcoming 2018 Christmas.
After failing to find any decent HP ornaments, I found a site that has a really cool looking glass (or plastic if you prefer) ball ornament for each of the four "schools". I will try to surprise her, especially if they do not turn out right, when we put up her 1st Harry Potter themed Christmas tree in the library this year...

I made Christmas journals to send by post, format is slightly smaller than travellers size so they fit flat in an A5 envelope and added some festive sachets of teas.
Made with some tea dyed papers, cardstock, some christmas patterned papers, hand made embellishments, stickers, tags.
