How early did you start?
I was sick (again!) the whole Thanksgiving holiday and weekend, so couldn't get decorated until Dec 7th. Luckily I did have the candles in the windows and the lights on the bushes in place, so the outside was lit starting Black Friday. This season was way too short. I may not decorate the indoors at the beginning of November, but I seriously have to start working Christmas things in to my life all through the fall (alongside the other holidays)!
The holly's up, the house is all bright, The tree is ready, the candles alight; Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight.
