    Thumbs up Skinny Pumpkin Pie

    This is from skinny mummy .






    Prep time: 10 minutes

    Cook time: 1 hour 15 minutes

    Yield: 8 servings

    Serving size: 1/8 of pie


    Ingredients
    15 oz can Libby's® 100% Pure Pumpkin
    1 cup skim milk
    3 egg whites
    ¾ cup Stevia (or your favorite sweetener)
    1 tsp cinnamon
    ½ tsp ginger
    ¼ tsp ground cloves
    1 reduced-fat graham cracker crust

    Instructions
    1.Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
    2.Mix pumpkin, milk and egg whites in a medium bowl.
    3.In a separate bowl, mix Stevia and spices.
    4.Gradually, stir the spice mixture into the pumpkin mixture.
    5.Pour into prepared crust.
    6.Bake for 15 minutes at 450 degrees, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 50-60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    7.Let cool for 2 hours and serve.

    me too Steph I'm also doing water aerobics,
    2 years now .
    I love it a lot .
    n I do love my food too .s0 any where I can consume less calories is a plus for me .

    Healthier Apple Pie by Grandma Ople





    Ingredients Edit and Save

    Original recipe makes 1 9-inch pie Change Servings



    1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie


    1/4 cup unsalted butter


    3 tablespoons all-purpose flour


    1/4 cup water


    1/2 cup packed brown sugar


    8 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced



    Directions


    1.Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour to form a paste. Add water and brown sugar, and bring to a boil. Reduce temperature and let simmer.
    2.Place the bottom crust in your pan. Fill with apples, mounded slightly. Cover with a lattice work of crust. Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust. Pour slowly so that it does not run off.
    3.Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes, until apples are soft.
