We actually had below freezing on Halloween, but since, it has been in the upper 40's to low 50's. We usually get a white Christmas here in South Dakota, but there have been a few exceptions...

Excuse me, but have you ever taken a trip during December just to see snow?
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more!"

Excuse me, but have you ever sent a Christmas in July present or card?

I have never taken a trip just to see snow- we get it eventually. You?

I have never sent a Christmas in July gift or card. I believe you do the card swap at that time of year, but have you ever sent a gift?

When I was younger living in California, we would go to the mountains to see the snow, but now living in South Dakota, I just need to look out the window... lol

Not a gift in CIJ (though we are going to celebrate it this year with my 90 y/o Mother-in-law. A did gifts once when they had Christmas Stockings.

Excuse me, but have you ever had a snowball fight?

Your family had Christmas stockings in July? And if you're celebrating with your mother-in-law, does that mean you are picking a day to do something? Or is it a month long thing with her?

Yes, I've been in snowball fights. My sisters and I always recall my father packing the snow into something like an ice ball when we were little. Needless to say, we were sure to avoid snowball fights with him if at all possible.

We have not done this before, but it seems very appropriate this year (she turned 90). She is unaware and I will set things up for the morning of the 20th. Everyone present will have a stocking. I am really looking forward to it.

Excuse me, but have you ever snowboarded?

Have a great time on the 20th!

I took snowboarding lessons with my sisters. I really wanted to like it, but I don't like my legs being locked into something inflexible. Because the boot comes half way up the shin, it felt like if I fell the wrong way my leg bones could snap.

    Have you?

Before such a thing as a snow board, we took our surfboards to the mountains. Did not work too well... lol

Thanks. Excuse me, but have you ever ruined a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner?
