"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more!"
I have wrapped a present and didn't put a tag on it right away and forgotten who it was for. I had to partially open it to see what it was. Actually I started to do it again this year. I was thinking, let me wrap all these and then I'll put all the tags on. Luckily I caught myself. You?
I have watched the inauguration. This year I was multitasking and not it in the room a lot of the time. You?
The holly's up, the house is all bright, The tree is ready, the candles alight; Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight.
Too much "Pomp & Circumstance" for me, so I just caught the highlights... lol
Excuse me, but do you still have any Christmas decorations up?
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more!"
Not outright. Just lit and unlit greenery garlands and mini trees that I still have out for my winter decorations (they ease me out of the season). Though, I think I'm about ready to take those down and put valentines things out. It's snowing right now, so I'm glad I still have them for the moment.I left my outdoor lights on an extra week- shut them off on 1/20. I took the candles in my windows down on 2/2.
Other than your office, do you have any decorations still up? When did you shut off/take down your outside decorations?

I still have not taken down the Harry Potter library. The outside was taken down on the 3rd of January, due to the threat of a large snowstorm coming in. Naturally since I hurried up, it missed us... lol![]()

Naturally.
I was noticing in my neighborhood that some people hadn't taken down some of their Christmas things and then a big ice storm came and there was no way they could get them down for quite awhile. I was thinking of you and how yours had to stay up so long last year (I think it was last year? time is flying by!).
