Cleaning, packing, laundry - nothing fun!

About to go into a coma from watching so many Hallmark Christmas movies! Once I wake up - I'll go outside and rake more leaves - 17 bags done, probably another 30 to go - front yard ONLY! Unfortunately, the leaf blower is broken. We don't want to buy another as we won't need one where we are moving

I have a whole bunch more to do, but I'm thinking I'm going to try mowing them up. That will mean I'll have to stop and empty it every few paces, but at least it's something different. lol

My Husband always mows up the leaves in the back yard. It does work to a certain extent! I'm done with 20 bags now - again only front yard. My across the street neighbor has moved out and they hired a landscaping crew to do their leaves until the new people move in. Well, the landscapers are just blowing them all into the street and of course the wind naturally blows in our direction - so those leaves are all heading our way. We may have to buy a blower just to defend ourselves! (Not to mention - it is against village ordinances to put your leaves in the road, as there is no pick-up of loose leaves here) The old man who used to live there, was a pro at leaf pick-up - really missing him now! Behind that house is a LARGE undeveloped area filled with trees - God help us!
Have not found a place yet - we are looking in the New Paltz, NY area and plan to go back up there later this week!
