Hot and Spicy Pecans
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter, melted or 2 T. oil
chili powder
cumin
turmeric
cayenne
2 cups pecan halves
1/2 teaspoon sugar
Salt to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, mix butter with spices(you choose amounts). Stir in the pecans, and then toss with sugar to coat.
3. Spread coated pecans on a medium baking sheet, and cook in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
Lightly salt.
Give as gifts in decorated jars.
