Anyone know what figgy pudding taste like??

I found figgy pudding and bread pudding. I have never had either one. I found a pumpkin bread pudding with ginger sauce, sounds yummy and then, my husband started singing "We wish you a merry Christmas" and I thought, hmm, wonder what figgy pudding is and found a recipe for that too. So, who has tried it and is it good? I love fresh figs right off the bush.
