One more photo. This is my Christmas Countdown calendar. I bought it in the late seventies or very early 1980's from Avon. Someone else on this forum has the same calendar (Dave?), but the funny thing is, I saw it a few days ago when I was watching "Four Christmases".. It was the background for a kitchen scene!

You could put a small piece of candy in each pocket ahead of time, if you wish. I never have and now I'm diabetic, so too late!!

Heaven, and the Christmas Time be praised for this! I say it on my knees, old Jacob, on my knees!' (Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol)

You are very lucky! When I put a Christmas wreath outside my front door, its missing next day...

Really??? Everyone puts up wreaths here and no one seems to ever touch them!! Maybe it's because everyone has one of their own already!?!?

I've never known a wreath to be stolen. A lot of people have them.
