When do you begin planning your decorating?

When do you begin planning your christmas decorations? Does it take longer to think about large interanl and external displays?
So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
Hail our dear old friend kris kringle,
Driving his reindeer across the sky.
Don't stand underneath when they fly by.

I begin planning on December 26th for the next year...I am always thinking about it...I will see something that is not necessarily Christmas and then think of how it could become a Christmas decoration!

I believe I started many years ago. I can hardly remember a day I haven't thought about Christmas.

Same here. I think about Christmas all the time and plan my decorations even if it's in the middle of a heatwave

My decorations have become family traditions. I generally decorate the same way each year adding something new and eliminating something that is tired, each year!

I usually start now. I do Halloween and Christmas plans at the same time because I love all the holidays during the seasons.

I planned when I'm thinking of it,so if some ideas come to my mind or I see something I could add,I start planning
When it seems the magic slipped away...
We find it all again on Christmas Day
