I tried taking pictures of my tree while it's lit up but all you can see are the lights.maybe because they are colored or because I have so many.I dont have any other lights on in the house maybe that's another reason?

I had a similar problem - getting only the lights in the dark, or just the ornaments during the day. I heard that if you don't use the flash they come out much better. I am trying to figure out how to turn the flash off. Had it off and my kids must have put it on again.
