Sadly I don't have the opportunity to decorate outside for Halloween seeing as I live in an apartment haha. I do however decorate my girlfriends moms place. The house is spooky enough without decorations, I may have to post pictures when we finish decorating it next week

Today I put orange compact fluorescent bulbs in the outside garage fixtures. After Thanksgiving, I'll change them to green.

I took a drive today and saw a house with approximately 30 blow up Halloween decorations. It looked amazing

I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. ~Charles Dickens

Sadly, I don't do much decorating for Halloween. The day for us really just comes and goes because we're trying to pull things together for Turkey day and Christmas. I think if we added another holiday in the mix, it would be overwhelming. We just do pumpkins and leave it at that. Sometimes we'll carve them, but not this year. Too busy.

    My front door:

I guess I'll have to have the front door painted again in the spring.
