Has anyone here posted a recipe for Yorkshire pudding? I have no idea what it is. Is it actually pudding, or something else? If it's good, I'd love to suggest it to my wife.

I love Outdoor Christmas Lights!!
I can not believe you have never had a yorkshire pud! It can be used as a pudding, when eaten with jam or other sweet sauces. I however like it savoury to accompany a roast dinner (on the plate with the roast and veg etc) and covered in gravey or apple sauce
The recipe is virtually the same as pancake mixture I pre-heat a little butter in a baking tray with 12 individual cake indents. I pour the mixture in to the tray to make 12 yorkshire puddings and pop them into the oven. Alternatively you can buy pre-cooked frozen yorkshire puds to pop into the oven or microwave
This recipe seems about right:

Hold on, if you've never had yorkshire pudding, does this mean you've never had toad in the hole??
I make my Yorkshire pudding in a pie plate and then we take servings from that. We don't have frozen ones at the grocery.
