    Chocolate CHip Muffin Mix

    1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
    2/3 cup brown sugar
    1/8 tsp salt
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
    2 cups all-purpose flour

    In a 1-quart container of your choice, layer the above ingredients in
    order given. Pack each layer into the container before adding the
    next ingredient. Securely close container and, if desired, decorate.

    On recipe card:
    Chocolate chip Muffins

    1 jar CHocolate CHip MuffinMix
    3/4 cup buttermilk
    3/4 cup applesauce
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 T vegetable oil
    1 tsp vanilla

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate
    chip muffin mix with the buttermilk, applesauce, egg oil and
    vanilla. Stir until mixture is just blended. Do not overmis. Spoon
    batter into greased muffi tins, filling 2.3 to 3/4 full. Bake for 18
    to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack for 10
    minutes before removing. Serve warm or at room temperature.

    Cookies n' Cream CHocolate CHip Cake Mix

    1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
    3/4 cup crushed Oreo cookies
    1 T baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt

    In a 1-quart container of your choice, layer the above ingredients in
    order given. Pack each layer into the container before adding the
    next ingredient. Securely close container and, if deisred, decorate.

    On recipe card:
    Cookies n'Cream CHocolate CHip Cake

    1 Jar Cookies n' Cream CHocolate CHip Cake mix
    1/2 cup butter or margarine
    1 cup milk
    2 tsp vanilla
    3 egg whites
    Vanilla Frosting

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, add contents of
    jar. Cut in butter with a pastry blender. Add milk, vanilla and egg
    whites. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Scrape sides of bowl and
    beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour cake batter into a lightly
    greased and floured 9 X 13" baking dish. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Frost cake with vanilla frosting.

    Triple CHocolate Chip Cookie mix

    1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
    1/2 cup white chocolate chips
    1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    Pinch of salt
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    3/4 cup sugar

    In a 1-quart container of your choice, layer the above ingredients in
    order given. Pack each layer into the container before adding the
    next ingredient. Securely close container and, if desired, decorate.

    On recipe card:
    Triple CHocolate chip cookies

    1 jar Triple CHocolate CHip Cookie Mix
    1 egg
    1 tsp vanilla

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter
    until light in texture. Pour sugar from the top of jar and beat with
    butter on high speed until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and
    beat at medium speed until well combined. Add remaining ingredients
    from jar and mix at medium speed until combined. Drop dough by
    teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12
    minutes.

    Friendship Brownie Mix

    2/3 cup sugar
    1/2 cup white baking chips
    1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 cup walnuts
    2/3 cupbrown sugar
    1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt

    Layer the ingredients in order given into a 1 quart container of your
    choice. After add the unsweetened cocoa powder, byt before adding the
    flour, clean inside of the jar with a paper towel. Pack each layer
    into the container before adding the next ingredient. securely close
    container and , if desired, decorate.

    On recipe card:
    Friendship Brownies

    3 eggs
    2/3 cup vegetable oil
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 jar Friendship Brownies Mix

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. IN a large bowl, mix eggs, oil and
    vanilla. Add the friendship brownie mix. Stir until the mixture is
    well blended. SPread in a grease 9" square baking pan. Bake for 34
    to 38 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out
    clean. Cool before cutting.

    1/2 cup Reese's Pieces Candy
    1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 T baking soda
    1/2 T baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 cup dark brown sugar
    3/4 cup sugar

    In a 1-quart container of your choice, layer the above ingredients in
    order given. Pack each layer into the container before adding the
    next ingredient. Securely close container and, if desire, decorate.

    On recipe card:
    Reese's Monster Cookies

    1 jar Reese's Monster Cookie Mix
    1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
    1 egg
    1/3 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
    1/2 tsp vanilla

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, pour sugar and
    brown sugar from top of jar. Add butter and mix at high speed until
    light in texture. Add egg, peanut butter and vanilla and beat at
    high speed for 1 to 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients from jar
    and beat at low speed until well combined. Drop dough by
    tablespoonsfuls onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 10 to
    12 minutes.

    Thumbs up CHocolate COvered Candy Canes

    Chocolate Covered Candy Canes

    1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    2 t. shortening
    16 peppermint candy cans or sticks
    Crushed hard peppermint candy or miniature chocolate chips, if desired

    Line jelly roll pan with waxed paper. Heat chocolate chips and
    shortening in pan over low heat until melted. Tip pan so chocolate runs
    to one side. Dip 1 candy cane at a time into chocolate, coating about
    2/4 of each stick with chocolate. Place in pan. Let stand about 2
    minutes or until chocolate is almost dry. Roll chocolate dipped ends in
    crushed peppermint candy. Let stand about 10 minutes or until chocolate
    is dry. Store loosely covered at room temperature up to 2 weeks. Makes
    16 candy canes
    To microwave: Mix chocolate chips and shortening in 2 cup microwavable
    measure. Microwave on medium (50%) power about 3 minutes or until
    chocolate chips are softened. Stir until smooth. Continue as directed.

    Chunky Blond Brownies

    1/2 cup butter, softened
    3/4 cup sugar
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup vanilla or white chips
    1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
    1 jar (3-1/4 ounces) macadamia nuts or 3/4 cup blanched almonds,
    chopped, divided

    In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and
    fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, baking powder
    and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in vanilla chips,
    chocolate chunks and 1/2 cup nuts.
    Spoon into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan; spread to evenly
    cover bottom of pan. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake at 350
    degrees for 25-30 minutes or until top begins to crack and is golden
    brown. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
    Yield: 2 dozen.

    :gingerbread: Turtle Cake Recipe

    Turtle Cake Recipe
    INGREDIENTS:


    1 box (1 pound 2 ounces) German chocolate cake mix

    1 package (14 ounces) caramels

    1/2 cup butter

    1 can (5.33 ounces) evaporated milk

    1 cup chopped pecans

    1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    TO PREPARE:

    1. Mix cake according to directions on box. Pour half of batter into prepared 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake 15 minutes.
    2. Melt caramels with butter and milk. Pour over cake.
    3. Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips over caramel layer.
    4. Cover with rest of batter and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.

    Temperature: 350 degrees
    Times: 15 minutes
    15 to 20 minutes

    HINT: Delightful served warm with whipped cream.

    :gingerbread: Potato Ham Hash

    Potato-Ham Hash
    INGREDIENTS
    4 cups frozen Potatoes O'Brien
    1 cup diced ham
    Shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
    Parsley or cilantro
    Oil

    PREPARATION
    Heat a little oil in a large non stick fry pan.Add 4 cups frozen Potatoes O’Brien and 1 cup diced ham. Cover and cook over medium heat 5 minutes without turning. Stir mixture and cook 5 minutes longer, gently turning with a spatula occasionally, until potatoes are crisp. Remove from heat and sprinkle with a little shredded reduced-fat Cheddar and some parsley or cilantro, if you like. Serves 4

    Barbecued Meatballs

    Ingredients


    3 lb. Ground beef
    1 1/2 cups oatmeal
    2 cups milk
    3 tsp. Salt
    Pepper
    6 Tbsp. Chopped onion.


    Sauce:
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    3 Tbsp. Vinegar
    3 Tbsp. Ketchup
    2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
    1 cup water
    6 Tbsp. Chopped onion


    Sauce Variation:
    3/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 cup ketchup
    1/2 cup water
    3 Tbsp. Vinegar
    3 Tbsp. Sugar
    Directions

    Mix all together. Roll in balls and place in baking dish. Mix up sauce of your choice. Combine and pour over meatballs. Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 1 1/2 hours. Makes 24 small meatballs
