Christmas mood is always here with me, but, I agree with you, September has always been the time/month where I feel like Christmas coming..

I think the mood can strike you at any time. Suddenly you just feel the need to watch a Christmas movie or play mamChristmas cd. Once I hit September, the holiday spirit is almost constant. Sometimes it feels that it's all I think about!

I just looked back and saw I originally posted in this thread last November 1st. I must have JUST joined the forum at that time. This year, I've been bitten by the Christmas bug earlier than ever. I had a bit of a "down" time in January, but by mid-Feb, I was already thinking ahead to Christmas 2011. That's mostly because of my boys. With each passing year, they are beginning to understand how magical the holiday season is. My oldest turns 5 in October, and my youngest just turned 2. The soon-to-be 5 year-old is definitely in the zone for holiday excitement. Plus, he's watched me all year as I have continually gotten things that I will be adding to my outdoor display. So...to sum up, I'm already excited for this Christmas, and it will carry through all the way until it gets here!!

As your boys grow older, the more excited you will all get...
I bet, this Christmas preperation will have a whole different meaning from all past years, as,your boys begin to understand more and more every year, so, every years Christmas prepearations will definitely be much much better from previous one..
You are a very lucky father, hope you have fun with your boys and as years go by, become the best Christmas Team!!!

Oh... almost forgot.. Cant wait to see them members, here...

The kids definitely make the season sparkle! My kids are 26 and 17, so we are beyond the magical stage now! Even my youngest niece/nephew is 13 now. My grandniece is 19 months and would be so much fun at Christmas - except she is 3000 miles away in Seattle! Things are alittle toned down now, but still so much fun!

Anyway - I started to feel the holiday season yesterday as I spent about an hour making up to-do and to-buy Christms lists! I think today I may work on designing my Christmas cards!
