When my girls were young and I was their Girl Scout troop leader, we always had a year-end Christmas party where we had a secret Santa ornament exchange (instead of gifts), a visit from Santa and an inexpensive craft (a gift for their parents) along with Christmas treats (everyone brought something from home)!

Sounds so wonderfully simple and yet going to the store and spending money is sadly easier.

celebrate a free Christmas is also can be fine and happy.you can buy some beautiful candles and flowers, then do them yourself. so that you can take a few money and then get a wonderful party.that is also fine to have gifts.
