He always does - I'm personally hoping for some electronic or techy gadget this year - but I also have 4 kids... What's all the rage this year?

I have no idea what I'd like for Christmas... maybe some sci fi box sets. I don't have any of the Star Trek series on DVD (Yes, I am only just phasing out my VHS tapes) so that'd be nice I'm hoping my husband will buy me an eternity ring one day but I suspect if that ever happens it'll be an anniversary thing rather than Christmas or birthday. I like simple gifts for Christmas - nice bath sets, new pjs, underwear etc. Stuff that makes you feel all pampered and cosy

When it seems the magic slipped away...

Oh, I forgot! I went to see Tim Minchin live this year and the DVD comes out late November. I hope Santa will get it for me so that I can squint into the audience and try and spot myself

Just wanted to bump this - even though I've stickied it now. Closed the 2010 Thread, and moved a few responses for 2011 over to here! So.. what do I want???

    Hrm...

Last Christmas, my wife and I got each other B&N Nooks. They've been great and we actually read a lot more now than we did before! I think this year, I'd like a tablet pc. Not the iPad, though. I'm thinking the Asus Eee Pad! It's a tablet that has an optional dock to turn it into a regular computer. Pretty sweet. As you can tell, I love gadgets. :-D
