I know the feeling well Mike. I put low lying decorations in my front yard one time and it was one time too many!

Wow! I have relatives just north of the Twin Cities. It's a marshmallow world in the winter when the snow comes to cover the ground!

The snowfall amount was over 17 inches in the one day. It was the 5th highest "single" snowfall ever recorded here. Plus the winds were gusting up to 40-50 mph, so the drifting was insane. Between all that, and then shoveling the sidewalk on top of it, we have about 3-4 feet of snow across the entire yard. No way the lights in the middle of the yard are getting dug out until SPRING! The good news is that it's rare for us to have that much snow before Christmas, so I will not be deterred. I will do it again next year!!

This was a pic I posted when I first started putting up the outside stuff. I had added several pieces (in the yard) since this pic, that you can no longer see anyway.

Wow, Mike that's a whole lot of snow! Too bad for your decorations. I'll hope that the snow melts just enough to expose them again.
