Mike - it is so much fun and so inspiring to watch the progress of your decorating. I have been gone for close to two years caring for my mother who was in hospice and living with me and now am able to catch up on everything that has been going on one this forum. It has been so great to see so many familiar names - I am excited to catch up. I have told a couple of people about your tree and will be sure and tell them to sign onto this forum to follow your progress and enjoy everyones elses decorations. It is good to be back

It is nice to see you again Lynn. Thanks for the nice comments

I was 39 hours into the set up of the tree at the time this picture was taken...

Friday afternoon and 42 hours into decorating the lights are finally finished. What a battle that was ...

    47 hours...

Trying to hide the tree from outside. Only a little bit is visable.

    52 hours later...

I am thinking that the tree will be done in about a week or so. I am back to work tomorrow and I have about 200 more ornaments to add. I then have to add the snow and the skirt.

Jeannette and I also have been doing some Christmas decoration shopping and I picked up another 20 new ornaments.

Hopefully I will be starting on the next tree by mid November

It looks so pretty. Wow, after buying (building) a new house I am surprised that you have money left to buy more ornaments.

I had to take the piggy bank, turn it upside down and give it a darn good shaking Donna

Mike that is absolutely gorgeous. I love it. How tall is your tree?

'I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future!' Scrooge repeated, as he scrambled out of bed. 'The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. Oh, Jacob Marley! Heaven, and the Christmas Time be praised for this! I say it on my knees, old Jacob, on my knees!' (Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol)
