Thanks everyone for all of your comments I still have more work to do on the big tree but it is too dark outside when I get home so I will complete it this coming weekend. Tonight I am going to work on the staircase. I have an idea and Jeannette gave me the thumbs up to proceed. Lots of decorating left to do in the family room, dining room, and kitchen. We are thinking about getting a real tree. I used to buy one every year when I was in my last house years ago and I still have all of the ornaments for it.

I have no idea what I am going to do for outside lights this year.


It is going to be a busy 2 weeks leading up to Dec 1st. Dec 1st is the the date that the boss wants everything completed by I will finally be able to relax and enjoy the lights.........until the hydro bill arrives lol

I actually thought of you today when I was in Macy's. They had some clear glass bird ornaments and I thought "Crazy Mike would love these!". It was kind of weird since I've never met you. The only other time I've done that was when I saw a Jim Shore Nativity set and thought of Marhsmallow world. Now here's where it gets freaky. I used to live in Toronto, and Marshmallow world used to live in DC. Cue Twilight zone music!
