    Mike's 2010 Christmas madness thread

Hello everyone, The crazy Canadian is back !!!!!

I hope that 2010 has been a good year for you all

It is once again that time of the year that I look forward to the most. Since we celebrate Thanksgiving in October here in Canada I have taken November 1st to November 8th off as vacation time to start work on the Christmas trees. On the morning of November 1st I will start to assemble the new 12' tree in the living room.
Since my previous tree took on average of 42 hours to set up every year I am figuring that this tree will take about 60 hours to complete. It is going to be an epic amount of work.

I am looking forward to the challenge and I hope that I do not fall off the ladder and break any bones.

More to come in the coming days and lots of pictures too...

Mike maybe you need to scaffold up instead of a ladder. I'd hate for you to be laid up with broke bones and everyone around you will have their trees up except you. How's that for a little holiday gloom -- I'm just a worry wart.

I know it will be spectacular. I assume that since you are going to start the tree that you are all moved into your new house?

Gandr scaffolding would be great. I did buy a heavy duty ladder which I feel very safe on so I should be ok.

Donna we are all moved in

    :tree:

I'm looking forward to seeing your photos. Any Christmas Tree that requires so many work hours must be a piece of art.
