I have the small multi colored lights on my tree, but after seeing Olga's picture I think I might change. All my ornaments are old fashioned (mostly European blown glass) and those candles would add to the look.

    Small lights are better

I love the small tree lights and they make it look even better than the bigger ones. The small tree lights have become very easy to find as well. The bigger ones make it look clumsy.

I think it depends upon the look and shape of the tree. I use the small lights -clear

we prefer small as they blend in better and not over power the rest of the decorations

I have the small white lights. My tree isn't very big so it probably wouldn't make sense to get bigger lights.

I think, big ones are the best for the outside decoration..
    I love small ones, too...

I have a multi-colored pre-lit tree. However, I add 2 strings of C7 multis and a set of twinkling minis, as well as a set of multi-function micro LEDs. My tree is serious lights!! I like the mixture of minis and C7s. Oh, and the star on top is an LED that changes colors continuously.

I know the attraction of the big tree lights. It took me along time to give them up. The small ones tend to light the tree more evenly and in a more subtle way!
