I dont know if you guys have a Hobby Lobby close, but they already have all of their Christmas stuff up including trees, paper, ornaments, everything. We were pretty shocked to see it up mid-August![]()

Mid-August. Where I live they start in July. No Kidding!
WOW!![]()
Thats just a bit to early for me! I like looking at everything but then you realize that the season is still 5 months away! It makes the waiting a little unbearable
I can't shop too early because my kids change their minds. Now my almost 15 yr. old wants a laptop for her Bday and Christmas. Now how does that work? Does that mean she gets nothing for her Bday and she knows exactly what will be under the tree Christmas morning?
Haha, its the trick I tried to pull on my parents when I was young too, saying that the gift will cover both Bday and Christmas, but knowing dang well my parents weren't going to leave me present-less on xmas morning! It worked :D
I'll start shopping at the and of October, when I'll buy my new Tree.
In other words, this morning, I saw a store with a small announcment '' Inside, you will find Christmas offers ''.
I wanted to go in, but it was too early in the morning...

And so, as Tiny Tim observed, "God Bless us!! Everyone!!''
A Christmas Carol - Charles Dickens (1843)
Honestly, it is never to early for stores to have Christmas stuff for sale. I understand why it makes some people upset. But we need to keep the name of Christmas. Since more and more each year the word becomes more and more of a secret.
