I take ours down after January 14. I am Russian and we celebrate Xmas on Jan 7 and then "Old New Year" on Jan 13. As for outdoor decorations, sometimes they hang around till March because my husband doesn't have time to put them away

we normally take ours down on the 1st or 2nd of jan,the house normally looks abit bare without them for a couple of days.
We usually take most of the Christmas decorations down around New Year's when we have a holiday...it is always soooo depressing for me! The house looks so empty and bare. I have a lot of snowmen decorations (I love snowmen), that I leave up usually at least through January, since they are winter and not just Christmas, but when I take those down, I know it is really over...
I agree, it is sad...
We wait until just after New Years and take them down when we come home from the beach.

So excited for christmas 2012
Every year when I put up the Christmas decorations, especially the tree, I always think to myself that in no time at all I'll be putting them away and Christmas will be over. So true. So much anticipation and then it's gone in a blink of an eye.
Merry Snowy Christmas
