We have a large floor-to-ceiling window divided into three vertical sections in our living room. I hang a pine rope garland along the top and sides hung with crystal icicles of various shapes and sizes. In the center of each section I hang large crocheted snow flakes. In the center section I place our main Christmas tree. When folks drive up to our house they see a winter scene even if the weather has been mild. This year though the outdoor icicles gave my indoor ones some stiff competition! I also hang a pine rope garland over the two sets of atrium doors in our dining room. I twine red velvet ribbon around the garland and cluster long glitter icicles of various colors at one end with a red velvet bow at the other.

IF I had a Bay Window I would treat it like a store front display. Look up "window christmas display". If you wanted it to remain special, Close off the house side so that you only see it as you drive up to your house, It is a special treat each time.

Thats what I call Christmas!!! You always have all that snow, MW???
    Your house is lovely.
I would love to sit near the window, with a hot cup of coca in my hands, looking at all that snow out there..

I love snow but that wasn't really very much. We haven't had much snow the past few years. Don't you just love the RED BOWS, Olga?
