Lovely advent calendar, Tink! I think it's great as it is. Only put decorations on the pockets if the added designs have significance to you.

That's beautiful! My Grandma and Granddad gave us an Advent calendar, every year, when they came for Thanksgiving...it was kind of the kick-off to the Christmas season. Years later, when Grandma and Granddad could no longer afford to get them, I continued buying them for myself, my two younger brothers and my Mom. Grandma and Granddad are both gone, now, but I love that tradition they began, so many years ago.
