    Ideas for "Silly Sock" exchange

My 5 year old son is exchanging "silly socks" at school for christmas and instead of just buying some fun socks, I wanted to make some (well at least decorate some)...

    Any ideas?

I like the idea of putting pom poms on them or even ribbons are they for a boy or a girl?
