I do like multi-color lights, but have also noticed they don't give off enough light. Since I am always changing themes, I have white lights on all my trees and I add some strings of single colored lights (like gold to one tree, red to another) to add more interest. Adds some variety, too

You re right about that, I always use hundreds of multi in order to give enough light, but, I dont know, I just couldnt imagine my tree without them, they make tree seem so...magical..

Most years I have white lights in the big tree and multicoloured lights in the windows and on the 2 little trees. This year I promised my boyfriend that we would go for the multi coloured lights on the trees.

I'm totally into a retro and vintage Christmas so the bigger the bulbs the better!
