As New Year is coming closer, I was just wondering how many cars will be burnt this year on New Year's eve. Here in France,the number of cars which are burnt in the suburbs on this day is increasing. I've heard this was not the case in other european countries, What a silly way to begin a new year ! I'm often ashamed of being french !

Yea, but unfortunately I think this problem is growing in other european countries as well. I really do not know why a great worldwide party has to be spoiled by this

Over here, if you drive through the streets where the revellers are, there's a high risk that your car will be sprayed with fake snow and the party people will kick and shake your car. I honestly don't know what kind of thrill they get out of doing these kind of things.

I stay in away from the crazy party goers. I know some towns and cities in NC fire cannons at the stroke of midnight and let off fireworks but nothing like vandalism is ever remarked on in the papers! But to each his own! Happy new year!

At the news today : almost 500 cars were burnt last night in France ( an increase of 19 % compared with last year ).

But let's forget this and HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY !!!!!
