It's a really solid film, but what can you expect? It's got the Coens' behind it. Looking forward to the sequel immensely.

That makes two of us.
You make it sound so easy.
A disgrace to Christmas, and an absolutely despicable film. I watched it in theatres and hated it. HATED it.
What type of decorations and whatnot would you recommend? Something that encapsulates that classic, cosy, vintage Christmas atmosphere.
Thanks!
Thanks everyone - I really love the colours, too. That, IMO, is one of the best things about Christmas. Look forward to seeing your Trees! :)
Today I woke up and decided to put the tree up. Still a little over a month, yes, but might as well get into the spirit early! This year, for the very first time, I decided not to use tinsels or...
24th of December is my Grandma's birthday - so we usually go there, order a pizza, and take it easy. Might have to skip that this year if I have to work.
I love bagels. Shame, where I live, they don't sell much of them.
Wow, that first picture is stunning. Exactly the room I'd love to have Christmas in. :presents1:
Ah, I thought we were talking about those silver and gold trees you can buy from those ostentatiously-ridden shops.
But, if it is just tinsels, then Gold and Silver FTW, most definitely.
I absolutely hate the silver trees or the gold trees AND especially the pink trees.
Seriously... Anything to make money.
Vividly green, tall, but imperfect. But, it is the smell that evokes it -- the naturalistic smell (rather than the artificial one).
No tradition. BUT, 24th of December is my Grandma's birthday -- so we usually go over there, get a pizza, and celebrate. I love the feeling of coming home on New Years Eve, though, watching the...
Only one hour? Woosh. Good job! I remember it used to take me Mum three months to make a scarf.
^ That's very nice. How long did it take you?
That is absolutely bloody awesome! Makes my train look like crap.
How much was that set, if you can recall?
That warm, fuzzy, Summer feeling, and the smell of the packed Christmas tree!
You know, those little Christmas trains that go under the tree. I got myself one and reassemble it up every year. It was pretty cheap, though - would like to get a bigger and better one, but it's a...
Absolutely. Always keep it with multiple colours. When I put up the diverse light colouring, too, the reflections and brightness looks very nice. I can't imagine a Christmas tree being the one colour...
Well, The Wire is a TV show created by David Simon looking into how we live together as a city. It examines the death of the working class, institutional betray, and the cons of...
