Last Christmas (2019)
M-
I have a cd titled Sentimental Christmas(I bought it at Kohl's last November) it contains Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, Bing Crosby and others. It's a really good cd.
I love A Charlie Brown Christmas (I watch it every year)
I also like:
Santa's Suprise (Little Audrey)
Christmas Flintstone
A Garfield Christmas
Sorry I don't have any of the videos for these.
I used to collect them but I don't know what I did with them, but I would like to start collecting them again. I do however have a tiny one and a few ornaments.
I've seen more funny ones than sweet. Most are about saving but still giving the gifts they wanted.
There is a Wal-Mart one with two boys/brothers and they are trying to find out what is in a box...
Both of my grandparents. My grandma passed away in 2006 and my grandpa just passed away in October.
I really love the version of The Christmas Song by Stevie Wonder and India Arie. It's got a jazzy feel to it. It was also used in Christmas commericals for Target in 2002.
We have a cookie jar. It's a Santa that my grandma has had forever. We also have several tins I have bought over the years from Hobby Lobby.
You know that happens to so many movies though, the first one is always a hit then they make several more sequels when they should have just stopped after the first or second one.
You're Welcome!
Olga, It's popular in America but it's celebrated all over the world. It's roots trace back to Ireland ( at least that's what Wikipedia says).
I don't really decorate my gifts. People just tend to tear through them and don't really take any time to see what I have done so I don't do it anymore.
Because I really like it there. I've been twice and it feels more like home than where I live now. Plus I really love the weather.
It won't happen but I'd like a trip to L.A.
Mid-August. Where I live they start in July. No Kidding!
onemagicalchristmas I have the 1947 version too. Actually I have a black & white version and a colorized version on the DVD.
It airs some time durning the day (at least where I live it does). Last year a dog show was on after the parade.
Olga, I didn't know that, that is pretty funny!
Issac I like the 1947 version better. I'm not really a fan of remakes so...
Actually a few years ago the original version was colorized. I saw it on AMC.
Shanniclause What are you looking for like channels?
I only know of TCM it's on their website I think most will have something by September.
Olga, Yes it is!
Do you mean on QVC?
If so there is a website QVC.com. I checked the other day and so far nothing Christmas related is coming up but there is a Halloween show in September. You can always check...
Bob That's so cool you get to go to Disney World for Halloween, I've always wanted to go.
I want to go to New York so bad for Christmas.
I also think it would be cool to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.
TV Specials:
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Garfield's Halloween Adventure (I actually found this as a DVD with a Thanksgiving and Christmas episode at Target!)
I also have a DVD somewhere...
