Looking forward to a Christmas snow as well, but in the meantime, hitting all those foot activated switches and seeing all the lights come on... :elf3:
Same here and also when Music Choice "Sounds of the Season" goes all Christmas (which started November 1st)... :home:
The first signs of Christmas in the stores... :waving:
May sound a bit weird, but the start of football season. For me it signals three things are very near... Fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas. :giftpeek:
True. But they did make it out before Easter (six days before)... lol :dizzy:
Very cool and the weather here is beginning to get above freezing. At this rate, they should be out by St. Patrick's Day... lol :home:
Since the snow is still so deep, people have not had the ability to take down lights, so some on our street still display them (including me)... :christmastree:
For now, one last drive past the Christmas lights with a mug of hot cocoa and the dream of next year... :tree1:
One of the TV stations playing a 24 hour yule long scene with Christmas music... :merrychristmas:
Right now, with it being so close, house lights, getting cards, presents under the tree, Christmas music and movies/specials...
Today, it is all the snow that covers the electrical cords for the outside displays... lol :waving:
Got em' and I decided to "man up" & remember what Christmas means to me, my family, friends and those all over the world. The result... it is coming back to the point of overflowing... :home:
Right now, I need to relax as I feel myself losing some of my Christmas spirit. And no, I'm not certain why... :sad elf:
I'll go along with the snow, but I'll replace the eggnog with hot cocoa... :xmascandycane:
Most of the time, snow is on the ground at Christmas. I can only remember a handful of occasions when it actually feel on Christmas Eve or Day... :santa:
I would have thought so as well. My big thing is to have snow covering all the cords for the yard displays... lol :tree1:
Snow does add a bit. Especially since you never know when those first flakes will fall... :santa1:
Twice... When the Hallmark Christmas movies begin and when the stores start displaying/decorating for the season... :santahat:
Same here, but it was at the local Hobby Lobby. They are always first out here. :waving:
Walking into my office. Where it is Christmas all year long. That reminds me, time to take the wreaths down and blow off the dust... lol :giftpeek:
Great minds Mistletoe, great minds... lol :tree:
Another Christmas to look forward to... :xmascandycane:
This morning. The tree and the day... :merrychristmas:
That thought had not occurred to me till you just mentioned it, but yes it does!! :reindeer2:
One thing these days is when Music Choice's Sounds of the Season begins playing Christmas music and one of the local radio stations does the same... :xmaswink:
