Same here. As long as the icicle lights are up, it does not hurt to bring a source of light and joy to the neighborhood. Though I am sure some will say... "When is he going to take those things...
Amen. This year I am moving all my Christmas stuff to a warehouse to store and sort it out. I still have enough lights, garland, ornaments, etc to decorate a dozen trees. Time this year to share the...
The outside is gone with two exceptions. The large lighted wreath above my door (mainly because I do not want to get out a ladder to take it down and redo it yet) and the icicle lights on the roof...
Everything but the inflatables are down. I needed the time for the other items to dry out. The rest come down today while the weather for these next couple are in the upper 30's... :waving:
Since the weather is a little bit warmer today, I have already started removing the outside decorations. It will take a little while for them to totally dry off and then the plans for next year...

A minor change to my last post... the yard stuff came down, but the lights around the door and garage are still up. :gingerhouse:
Mine came down last weekend. Could not resist, temps in the 30's with an expected cold front in the teens to single digits coming in... :home:
I'll be checking on the weather after the 5th... :home:
A bit of both... lol... :merrychristmas:
Last year with visitors occupying much of my home, some stayed up all year long... :home:
Most will come down the 2nd full week of January... :home:
Usually the last weekend in January (depending on the weather here in SD). However, due to frozen ground, some of the stakes wind up in the turf till early Spring...
